This hit my inbox last week and maaaaan let me tell you. It is fresh! so fresh in fact I was blown away that its actually from 1967. El Palmas, a record label in Spain is releasing Color de Trópico, a compilation celebrating the fusion that modernized Venezuelan music from 1966 to 1978. This song, the first single from the album, marries the Cuban Guajira with the Venezuelan Harp in a way that makes you wanna fucking yell. It's great. The album comes out in November and from the sound of it you're gonna wanna go get that.
